- The National Hip-Hop Political Convention is a gathering of the hip-hop generation to vote on, adopt and endorse a political agenda for the hip-hop generation. They use the historical/cultural framework of hip-hop as a rally cry for organizing and mobilizing young people to develop a political agenda and get them involved in electoral politics on the local, state and federal level.
